The origins of the “Raszczyk” company date back to the second half of the 20th century. It was in 1950 that Zygmunt Raszczyk opened his own business and started producing bakery products. Over time, his passion infected his son Bogdan, who continues what his father started to this day. Currently, Bogdan Raszczyk and his wife Bożenna are the owners of the company. Also for several years, the third generation – daughter Izabela and son Tomasz – has been involved in the work. The company expanded its activities on June 15, 1991 by launching the first bakery “Raszczyk”. Since 2000, he has been developing his own network of bakery and confectionery shops and cafes. Currently, there are 29 of them. The new points of sale are run in accordance with the requirements of the introduced HACCP system and EU requirements. The bakery delivers its products to over 400 recipients (Pasłęk, Elbląg, Dzierzgoń, Morąg, Ostróda, Gdańsk, Gdynia, Sopot, Rumia, Olsztyn, Iława and Warsaw). In the Tri-City and Warsaw, it cooperates with the chain of exclusive delicatessens Piotr i Paweł. “Raszczyk” is a family business that cares about traditions but keeps up with the times. That is why the motto of the company is the slogan “From tradition to modernity”. In the past, it was limited only to the production of sourdough bread according to traditional recipes. Over the years, meeting the needs of customers, it expanded its offer with a wide range of cakes and cakes. The rich offer, in addition to various types of bakery products, such as breads made of 100% spelled flour, donuts, croissants or rolls, includes high-quality, beautifully decorated English-style cakes, cream cakes, dessert cakes, baked cakes, cookies and pralines with precisely selected fillings. Meeting the expectations and needs of customers, the company focuses on modernizing newly opened business premises, as well as those that have been operating for years.
